Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Defence Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining vital Defence facilities, ensuring their robustness and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Substantiation: Create and manage documentation supporting Nuclear Infrastructure Design.
- Design Leadership: Justify and lead design changes and concessions.
- Presentation: Communicate design justifications effectively to safety committees.
- Maintenance Schedules: Develop and maintain schedules for Examination, Inspection, Maintenance, and Testing.
- Technical Advisory: Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.
- Independent Reviews: Conduct reviews to ensure compliance and integrity.
Requirements
- Essential: HNC in Civil Engineering, Basic health and safety training.
- Desirable: Chartered Engineer status, Training in nuclear safety case development.
