Job Purpose:The Nîmes site is a centre of excellence for the group, with a team of experts working on a variety of subjects, including subsea lines and renewable energies. As a Subsea Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out the dimensioning and dynamic analysis of subsea riser & pipeline systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyse project specifications, client design proposals, and other data to assess the feasibility, suitability, and constraints of project designs or applications.
- Ensure mastery and development of discipline design tools, based on state-of-the-art engineering methodology and relevant codes and standards.
- Perform the necessary studies to develop and design equipment/procedures according to the project objectives, with due regard to the applicable codes and standards.
- Ensure the preparation of project deliverables; create and present reports/deliverables detailing results, product features, and conclusions drawn from engineering studies.
- Report to his/her manager on the progress and on the expected completion of the deliverables.
- Preferably a hydrodynamic and/or mechanical engineer.
- Enjoy working in a team, sharing knowledge, developing colleagues, and learning from them.
- Autonomous in managing work while communicating naturally with team and managers.
- Solution-oriented, with a goal to help solve complex problems.
- Open-minded, speak professional English, and enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
