ArcelorMittal France is seeking a dedicated Troubleshooting Technician to join our team at the Dunkirk site.

As part of the Steelmaking department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying potential issues, resolving malfunctions, and maintaining equipment to optimal performance standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute planned maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to alerts and prioritize interventions based on urgency and impact.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and expertise to accurately diagnose issues and develop effective action plans.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance procedures, adhering to established safety protocols and operating ranges.
  • Participate in and conduct tests following maintenance shutdowns and troubleshooting activities.
  • Maintain the standard condition of your assigned tools and equipment.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of essential materials and supplies.
  • Analyze incidents and failures, implementing corrective actions to restore equipment to optimal operating condition.
  • Document identified anomalies in the CMMS system and formally communicate maintenance needs.
  • Proactively identify plan anomalies and potential issues, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations regarding assigned tasks and their reliability.
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and promote a culture of shared vigilance.
  • Maintain a high standard of orderliness, cleanliness, and organization in your work area.

Your Qualifications:

  • Possess a diploma in Electrotechnical or Electromechanical Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the industrial sector.
  • Demonstrate rigorous, systematic, and perseverant work methods.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of maintenance rules and standards, blueprint reading, troubleshooting methodologies, and techniques.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
