Role: Project Cost Engineer

As a Project Cost Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects. You will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, developing cost estimates, and managing budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

• Analyze Project Requirements: Conduct thorough assessments to understand project scope, technical specifications, and client expectations.
• Develop Cost Estimates: Prepare accurate and detailed cost breakdowns, considering material costs, labor expenses, equipment rentals, and other relevant factors.
• Manage Budgets: Track project expenditures against allocated budgets, identify potential cost overruns, and implement corrective measures to ensure financial control.
• Negotiate with Suppliers: Secure competitive pricing from suppliers by conducting thorough market research and negotiating favorable terms.
• Prepare Technical Documentation: Create clear and concise technical briefs outlining project requirements and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Cost Engineer or in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
