Overview:

We are seeking a motivated engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation processors that power billions of devices globally.
Team Environment:
This role is situated within the CPU Performance Analysis and Modelling team, a diverse group of skilled professionals and promising graduates. Our work lies at the intersection of software and hardware, encompassing all performance-related aspects for the CPUs developed in our center, from initial microarchitectural studies to performance validation of the final products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and explore potential micro-architectural enhancements aimed at next-gen CPU products.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to implement performance and efficiency features in an internal micro-architectural performance model.
- Analyze performance data across a broad spectrum of benchmarks.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of our performance analysis methodologies, striving for optimal engineering efficiency.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C or C++.
- Comprehensive understanding of CPU architecture fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in CPU or system modeling.
- Knowledge of CPU performance analysis and benchmarking.
- Familiarity with compilers and code generation techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
