About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at Unis-Cité Aude as a Mission Coordinator for Civic Service Development. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the promotion, development, and implementation of the civic service program on the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the organization of training sessions for tutors on the Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales territories in collaboration with the Civic Service Agency, territorial reference officers (SDJES), and the Education League.
  • Accompany the implementation and animation of training sessions for young volunteer tutors.
  • Coordinate and animate civic and citizen training days for Unis-Cité Aude volunteers and other structures on the Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales territories.
  • Ensure the administrative management of training sessions for tutors of young volunteers and civic and citizen training.
  • Promote the Civic Service to potential host structures (associations, collectivities) and accompany them in setting up volunteer hosting.
  • Guarantee a high-quality Civic Service mission: help structures define their Civic Service mission, support the tutor in their accompaniment, and mediate with volunteers.
  • Maintain, animate, and foster a network of partners by relying on local resources.
  • Participate in team meetings, exchange with team coordinators and project coordinators on the training paths of the young people they accompany, participate in the organization of key events for the Narbonne and Carcassonne antennas, and participate in events organized by partners.
Requirements
  • Experience in training, pedagogical coordination, and adult and/or youth animation.
  • Proficiency in office tools.
  • Experience in promoting and developing a device.
  • High autonomy, relational, and organizational qualities.
  • Experience in following young adults and an interest in this type of public.
  • Ease in advocacy, public speaking, and institutional relationships.
  • Interest in developing activities and animating partnership relations.
  • Knowledge of the Aude territory and its actors, particularly youth, would be appreciated.
  • A strong interest in contemporary major issues such as the environment, gender equality, and fighting discrimination would be a plus.
  • Strong availability and mobility, with regular travel to be expected within the department, and occasionally at the regional or national level.
  • Having completed a civic service would be highly appreciated.
  • Driving license B required.
