At Dassault Systèmes, we are committed to delivering industry-leading technology for advanced simulation applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Modeling & Simulation Industry Process Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for developing next-gen engineering methodologies for realistic simulation of rigid and flexible packaging using SIMULIA applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. This role requires expertise in structural FEA, multiphysics simulation, simulation data management, DOE & Optimization, and the ability to leverage technical skills to gain industry knowledge and hands-on work experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop innovative technical solutions for packaging manufacturing, conveying, storage, and transportation, addressing challenging problems to enhance packaging development.
- Use SIMULIA's software tools, such as ABAQUS, Fe-Safe, Tosca, and Applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, to develop and support workflows.
- Create new simulation methodologies and material models that are useful in CPG-R applications.
- Drive customers to address their business transformation by re-engineering their processes, leveraging industry processes on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including the DS internal ecosystem.
- Validate the latest features in SIMULIA's structural analysis software.
- Masters in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-8 years of experience in structures simulation with expert knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Modeling, and Numerical Methods.
- Proficiency and thorough hands-on experience on ABAQUS for structures simulation.
- Hands-on experience with any preprocessing software like Hypermesh, Ansa.
- Experience and knowledge of existing methodologies in modeling and simulation on packaging.
- Proficiency and thorough hands-on experience with solvers like LS-DYNA, PAMCRASH, Nastran.
- Hands-on experience with any CAD software such as CATIA, Solidworks.
- Hands-on skills in basic programming (Python, VB).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and comfortable discussing technical issues.
