Process Engineer for Module Production

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our Module/Pack Process team at Verkor. This team is responsible for developing innovative manufacturing processes and technologies to solve complex design challenges and improve product quality and delivery.
Main responsibilities:- Develop and optimize module production flows through the entire manufacturing process, including machine selection, tool/fixture selection, line layouts, and ergonomic studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PM, product design, test, and quality engineering, to solve problems, improve manufacturability, and implement continual improvement.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvement.
- Work with quality to compile and evaluate data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
- Participate in the transition of products from concept to pilot line production and into mass manufacturing.
- Analyze and optimize production processes to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in cost-effective means.
- Implement continuous improvement to maximize yield, capacity, and capability.
- Create and maintain manufacturing instructions and train operators as needed.
- Engineering degree or other applicable degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in developing and improving manufacturing processes.
- Strong technical and analytical skills in continuous improvement, failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving for product yield and quality issues.
- Good understanding of Bill of Materials, MES, specification management, and ability to perform DOE, data analysis, and SPC controls.
