Suez is seeking a dedicated Incineration Plant Operator to join our team

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our incineration facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from managing plant start-up and shutdown procedures to monitoring operational parameters and maintaining meticulous records.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all necessary operations for plant functionality, including startup and shutdown procedures.
  • Control and monitor incineration lines throughout their lifecycle, encompassing startup, normal operation, and shutdown phases.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of your assigned areas at least once per shift to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Record critical operational data, including parameter readings and weekly meter readings, for accurate monitoring and analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing equipment breakdowns and submit work requests for necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Step in as a temporary replacement for the Block Leader in their absence, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times, adhering to strict safety protocols during both routine operations and maintenance periods.
  • Document all significant events in the shift logbook and accurately record intervention requests within the CMMS system.

Your Ideal Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background. A degree in Thermal Engineering, Process Control, Fluids, Energy, HVAC, Technical Support, Industrial Control, or a related field is preferred. Prior knowledge of energy recovery systems is a valuable asset.
