As a vital member of the Quality Assurance Team within the Somfy Business Division, you will play a crucial role in upholding the standards of quality for our innovative building solutions, including motorized systems for window coverings.
Your primary focus will be on the enhancement and maintenance of product quality throughout their lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing customer quality inquiries and concerns
- Facilitating quality initiatives across various departments including sales, manufacturing, and engineering
- Leading cross-functional teams in problem resolution efforts
- Monitoring and reporting on the status of incidents and their financial implications
- Ensuring that modifications to products and processes comply with established quality benchmarks
- Evaluating product quality metrics, interpreting data, and executing improvement strategies
- Educating sales personnel on product evaluation techniques
- Addressing internal quality discrepancies
- Providing insights on quality challenges and liaising with product development teams
Qualifications:
- Background in engineering with substantial experience in quality management
- Skilled in quality methodologies such as 8D problem-solving, risk assessment, and compliance audits
- Familiarity with technical products
- Proficient in English
- Exceptional skills in customer relationship management
- Analytical mindset, organized, and capable of leading diverse teams
