ANYS, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our reporting team as Lead R&D Engineer. The team's primary focus lies in crafting software tools tailored for the collection and aggregation of large amounts of engineering data and finding innovative ways to analyze and visualize it to provide our customers with better insights.
Key Responsibilities- Lead planning, architecture, or research at a project level.
- Coordinate product design and development activities requiring extensive analysis in areas such as user experience, software design, and solver research.
- Act as a technical reference within a group or product.
- Develop and employ best practices and maintain them through technical reviews and mentoring.
- Perform complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support across multiple products.
- Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions, collaborating with the QA/support team.
- May work with strategic customers or proxies to assess needs and develop solutions.
- Operate without direct supervision and may function as a team leader, project manager, or software architect.
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8 years' experience, MS with 6 years' experience, or PhD with 4 years' experience.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Python, Django.
- Familiarity with the W3C Web Components specifications and best practices for building interoperable and reusable components.
- Proven track record of crafting robust and efficient code.
- Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure).
- Experience with web 3D technologies (e.g. WebGL).
- Experience leading projects and delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
- Ability to translate business needs into development plans.
- Ability to overcome obstacles and drive projects to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies, and to mentor junior developers.
