Mechanical Technician - Engine Overhaul Division

Our organization encompasses a diverse portfolio of products, including diesel and gas generators, inverters, marine and industrial applications, photovoltaic systems, solar thermal solutions, biomass heating systems, and hybrid energy solutions with storage capabilities.

To enhance our workforce in the engine overhaul division, we are seeking a mechanical technician to engage in the refurbishment of engines within our facilities.

In this position, you will report to the team leader of the workshop, and your primary responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in the disassembly and reassembly of thermal engines (Caterpillar 3500 series) in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and refurbishment timelines.

- Inspecting engine components, providing expertise, and preparing parts for reassembly.

- Conducting metrological assessments on various engine components (such as crankshafts, engine blocks, turbochargers, etc.).

- Monitoring engine performance during testing on test benches, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.

- You will also undertake administrative duties, including daily logging of hours and reporting on engine work completed.

- Contributing to the efficient operation of the workshop through organization and cleanliness.

Your Profile

You possess a background in automotive, heavy machinery, or agricultural mechanics, ideally with proven experience in these sectors.
