Job Context and Requirements
In the framework of the European project MANOLO, within a small team developing a new approach for frugal learning based on the growth of neural architectures, we are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute theoretically to the subject (optimization and search strategy) and to the open-source library.
Expected Missions
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be expected to collaborate with PhD students and contribute to their supervision, take initiatives to develop the subject and follow the literature.
Main Activities
Your main activities will include contributing to the theoretical developments of the subject (optimization and search strategy), to the open-source library of the team, and to the team's life.
You will also be expected to participate in the writing of deliverables requested by the European project, which correspond to the project's progress.
Required Skills
You will need to have skills in:
- Statistical learning
- Applied mathematics and optimization
- Programming (Python)
