Cybersecurity Specialist

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join its Energy Management Business Cybersecurity Innovation & Architecture Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the adoption and implementation of the Secure Development Lifecycle framework (per Schneider Electric SDL V2 process) and in compliance with the Secure Lifecycle Management Policy and other cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
The role will involve advising on cybersecurity technical requirements for the development of secure products and systems, as well as providing guidance, coaching, and expertise to implement Secure Development Lifecycle practices such as threat modeling, secure design, secure coding, implementation, and security testing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in working with development teams to manage vulnerability triage and resolution, and conducting internal Secure Development Lifecycle audits and Formal Cybersecurity Reviews (FCSRs).
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align operational/information security policies with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Adopt and implement the Secure Development Lifecycle framework
- Advise on cybersecurity technical requirements
- Provide guidance and coaching on Secure Development Lifecycle practices
- Manage vulnerability triage and resolution
- Conduct internal Secure Development Lifecycle audits and FCSRs
- Align operational/information security policies with business requirements
Requirements
- Strong background in cybersecurity
- Experience working with development teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to align operational/information security policies with business requirements
- Foundational data protection & privacy knowledge or willingness to acquire it during tenure
- Standing Certification in Cybersecurity Management such as CISSP, CSSLP
