Position Overview:
Glocomms is in search of a proficient Voice Solutions Architect to enhance our engineering team for a year-long engagement. This position is centered around the design and deployment of innovative voice solutions, encompassing comprehensive architecture and documentation. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in Cisco Call Manager, SIP protocols, and voice recording systems, alongside a robust grasp of industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and architect intricate voice solutions from the ground up.
- Create high-level designs and thorough documentation for voice infrastructures.
- Construct and test voice solutions in a controlled environment prior to full-scale implementation.
- Guarantee compliance with Cisco's best practices and industry standards across all solutions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to facilitate seamless integration of new solutions into existing systems.
- Provide technical leadership and direction on voice-centric initiatives.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced technical challenges related to voice systems.
- Engage with SIP technologies and troubleshoot interactions between SIP devices and networking equipment.
- Work with voice recording systems, including SIP REC technology and associated components.
- Apply knowledge of Oracle SBC and ECB in voice recording contexts.
- Oversee the integration of various ecosystem products, including provisioning systems and related tools.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in voice architecture and engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and associated technologies.
- Strong understanding of SIP, including troubleshooting and message exchanges.
- Experience with voice recording technologies and SIP REC systems.
- Familiarity with Oracle SBC and ECB is advantageous.
- Experience with ecosystem components and provisioning systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive voice solutions.
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
