Behavioral Health Counselor

Aroostook Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. As an Outpatient Mental Health Specialist, you will work with clients to address their mental health needs and provide support to help them achieve their goals. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, treat, and consult with clients to address their mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to promote client growth and well-being.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and community agencies to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
