About the Role:
Ansys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our reporting team as Lead R&D Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software tools that collect and aggregate large amounts of engineering data, and finding innovative ways to analyze and visualize it to provide our customers with better insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate product design and development activities, requiring extensive analysis in areas such as user experience, software design, and solver research.
- Perform complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support across multiple products.
- Operate with minimal supervision and may function as a team leader, project manager, or software architect.
- May be responsible for line management of a small technical team, but primary duties are of an individual technical nature.
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8 years' experience, MS with 6 years' experience, or PhD with 4 years' experience.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Python, Django.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular).
- Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with web 3D technologies (e.g. js).
- Experience leading projects and delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
- Ability to translate business needs into development plans.
