The role, situated in our Paris office, is part of the Global Corporate & Investment Banking Division. The primary language of communication is English.
The Global Corporate & Investment Banking Division is responsible for managing relationships with the bank's significant international clients and overseeing major financing products, including syndication, project finance, and securitization. Coverage teams possess in-depth knowledge of clients' needs, both from a credit and strategic perspective. Global Relationship Managers play a pivotal role in coordinating commercial strategies and collaborating with various business lines to enhance client interactions.
Educational Background
Candidates should possess a Master 1 or Master 2 degree from a recognized Business or Engineering School, preferably with a specialization in Finance.
Essential Skills
Applicants must demonstrate the following competencies:
- A strong customer-focused and business development orientation.
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles.
- A meticulous, dependable, and organized approach.
- Proficiency in both oral and written English and French.
- Previous experience in the Corporate & Investment Banking sector is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Key Responsibilities
Working within a team of twenty, the position focuses on supporting Global Relationship Managers in their engagement with major corporate clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting senior bankers in developing and maintaining client relationships, which entails preparing pitchbooks, memos, conducting research, and supporting the KYC process.
- Preparing Capital Allocation Committees and analyzing the profitability of client relationships on a global scale.
- Assisting in originating mandates across various product offerings, including debt funding, project finance, and capital markets.
- Coordinating follow-ups on transactions within MUFG's international network.
