Job Title: Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join our team at Vetrotech Saint-Gobain International AG. As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our data-driven decision-making strategy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of our data strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and remains up-to-date and documented.
  • Identify data use cases that directly impact customer experience and profitability, and execute data projects to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external resources to design, develop, and implement data solutions from data ingestion to data engineering and analysis.
  • Integrate data back into existing systems to provide a comprehensive customer view, and train internal stakeholders to efficiently execute data projects.
  • Establish data governance procedures and document data models to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, and foster a data culture within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Have over 2 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
  • Be autonomous, adaptive, and flexible, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Be committed to data integrity and quality, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Be open to criticism and capable of handling conflict constructively, and have a customer-oriented approach.
  • Be a team player who values collaboration, and possess skills in Data Engineering tools, Data Warehouse tools, SQL, data modeling and visualization, and data science tools.
  • Have proficiency in English (C1 or C2 level), and German or French as a plus.
