The Enterprise IT Security team at Datadog is dedicated to safeguarding the company's digital assets and infrastructure. As a Senior Enterprise IT Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, applications, and data.
Key Responsibilities:- Harden IT applications, endpoints, SaaS services, office networks, and AV systems using forward-thinking security models like 'secure by default' and 'zero trust'.
- Automate processes, integrate systems, create and maintain internal IT security tools and services.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to assist in responding to security incidents on Datadog's IT infrastructure.
- Develop systems for improved threat detection and response, data classification, DLP, and the reduction of risk using machine learning and LLMs.
- Educate employees on the importance of data security and advise them on best practices for maintaining a secure environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge in hardening and troubleshooting MacOS, Linux, Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
- Proficiency in the automation and integration of cloud-based systems using high-level languages like Python or Go, IaC, and CICD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reason about complex data security challenges.
