Refractory Technician

About You

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Refractory Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refractory systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refractory systems
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Develop and maintain knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Basic technical education (vocational certificate, diploma, BTS, apprenticeship, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in electricity at B1 and B2 levels
• Knowledge of the steel industry (experience in a steel mill would be highly valued)
• Several years of relevant work experience in chimney work/masonry (ideally refractory masonry)
