We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform Services department at Equativ. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying self-serve tooling to empower our R&D team.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Health and Monitoring: Setup and maintain a healthy and well-monitored platform, ensuring high availability and efficiency.
- Application and Tooling Setup: Configure applications and tools around the platform to best serve the R&D needs, with a focus on self-service approaches.
- Architecture Insights: Provide architecture expertise to help R&D teams design reliable and efficient applications hosted on our platform.
We utilize a range of technologies, including:
- Kubernetes Platform: Rancher, GKE, Calico, argo-proj tools, cert-manager, external-dns, and external-secrets.
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- Tooling: Gitlab, Ansible/AWX, and Terraform.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in System or Software Engineering, ideally in the web industry.
- Fluency with DevOps practices.
- Experience in Kubernetes administration, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting.
- Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and GitOps.
- A autonomous and innovative mindset.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
We also welcome candidates with experience in:
- Troubleshooting live incidents and incident management.
- Software development in Go, Python, or equivalent.
- Working with high-scale infrastructure.
