Job Summary:
NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly skilled Lab Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and executing validation strategies for new analog and mixed signal circuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement validation plans for new analog and mixed signal circuits, ensuring comprehensive coverage of system functionality and performance.
- Design and develop hardware tools for silicon validation, including manual and automated testing, from definition to debug.
- Program optimized software for manual and automated testing, leveraging languages such as Python, LabView, and TestStand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build characterization plans, conduct project validation, and analyze results.
- Perform IC parametric and functional bench-level measurements, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
- Drive improvements in validation processes, focusing on accuracy, coverage, traceability, delivery, and cost.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics with a strong foundation in analog and mixed signal circuit fundamentals.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in lab testing and/or automotive applications, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent technical skills with lab bench test, including board development experience and programming skills (Python a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French, with the ability to work proactively in problem-solving and focused on solutions.
