About the Role:
Our client, a prominent player in the global steel industry, is seeking to enhance its workforce in anticipation of forthcoming initiatives by hiring a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager.
In this pivotal role, you will take charge of mechanical projects, sub-projects, or contracts, which encompass preliminary design, execution, and industrial commissioning associated with new investments, sustainability efforts, or enhancements.
- Pre-Project Phase: You will play a key role in compiling the investment dossier and identifying technical solutions stemming from the initial study request.
- Design Phase: You will supervise both internal and external studies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Procurement Collaboration: You will work closely with the procurement team to select appropriate suppliers.
- Execution Phase: You will be responsible for maintaining the health and safety of personnel while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Commissioning Support: You will assist the operational team during commissioning to guarantee seamless operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess an engineering degree with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or new construction sectors, demonstrating strong technical acumen and project management capabilities.
- Exhibit autonomy, decisiveness, and the ability to navigate project challenges with resilience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in professional and technical English.
