The Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in Paris. You will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our global IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for our employees and systems.
Responsibilities- Manage and monitor our diverse IT infrastructure, encompassing on-premises, SaaS, and cloud environments.
- Administer our identity provider (Okta) and integrate it with new solutions to enhance security and access control.
- Oversee and evolve our Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Hyper-V, WSUS, and DFSR, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Implement and manage software updates, patches, and security fixes across our systems to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with the Security Team to conduct regular security reviews and implement remediation measures using tools like Ping Castle.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for our IT infrastructure, promoting knowledge sharing and efficient troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the adoption of best practices within our team to ensure robust and secure operations.
- Participate in new IT projects, providing technical expertise during architecture reviews, software evaluations, and solution implementations.
- Proven experience managing Microsoft infrastructure components such as Windows Server 2016, DFS/DFSR, Active Directory, Hyper-V, GPOs, and WSUS.
- Solid understanding of virtualization technologies and experience with Veeam backup solutions.
- Expertise in identity provider platforms like Okta and Azure AD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
