Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Fives Syleps SA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to strengthen its teams in a permanent position.

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer who is passionate about promoting the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate the mechanical design of embedded/autonomous motorized systems for custom manufacturing or small series production.
• Lead mechanical studies based on negotiated requirements and specifications.
• Conduct functional analyses and detailed definition of mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Specify mechanical components and equipment interfaces.
• Conduct and analyze mechanical simulations and validation tests.

Short business trips to client and/or supplier sites may be required.

Requirements:

• Graduate from a generalist or specialized engineering school in mechanics.
• Significant experience in designing and sizing mechanical structures and mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing (machining, welding, etc.) and data management systems.
• Passionate, intellectually curious, and creative.
• Practical with a determination to find solutions.
