We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator at our Saica Pack site in Poix de Picardie, Somme, France.

Job Description

The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for procuring materials by placing orders with suppliers at the best prices, quality, and delivery times to minimize machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Procurement and Order Management

    • Prepare and send orders to suppliers based on purchase requests and delegated authority

    • Classify and store documents related to orders when they are completed

    • Negotiate prices with suppliers

    • Request explanations from suppliers in case of disputes

    • Follow up with suppliers in case of delayed deliveries

    • Maintain a list of suppliers and update it regularly

  2. Inventory Management

    • Receive and inspect shipments to ensure they match the ordered items

    • Record inventory movements in the maintenance software

    • Inform the waiting service that the product has been ordered and/or received

  3. Stock Organization and Management

    • Store received items in the warehouse after referencing them

    • Maintain the daily organization of the warehouse and the self-service area

    • Monitor the proper functioning of inventory management software

    • Ensure the proper functioning of the self-service visserie area

    • Conduct inventory checks

  4. Preparation and Distribution of Materials

    • Prepare and distribute materials to maintenance agents according to scheduled actions

    • Record outgoing materials in the maintenance software

    • Provide employees with necessary equipment and consumables

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a first experience in a similar role, who is structured, organized, and reactive.

Good communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to listen, propose solutions, and be comfortable with computer tools.

The ideal candidate is dynamic, proactive, and recognized for their enthusiasm and initiative.
