Position Overview

The AI Product Owner is tasked with spearheading the development and execution of AI-driven products within our organization. This role is pivotal in steering the roadmap for AI projects. Key responsibilities include defining product specifications, managing the product backlog, delivering AI linguistic services, and engaging with clients. The AI Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as data scientists, engineers, and designers, to create cutting-edge AI solutions. They will oversee the complete product lifecycle, from conception to launch and subsequent monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project needs and team objectives.
  • Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications in collaboration with engineering and data science teams.
  • Lead sprint planning and review sessions to ensure clear direction and efficient team workflows.
  • Monitor development progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and adjust the product backlog as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of product functionalities and timelines.
  • Ensure product quality by establishing clear testing criteria in partnership with quality assurance teams and adhering to best practices in continuous integration and deployment.
  • Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to continuously enhance product functionality and usability.
  • Stay informed on AI technologies, applying this knowledge to improve product delivery and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner in a technology-focused environment, ideally with an emphasis on AI or machine learning products.
  • Familiarity with Streamlit and Python is advantageous, as the ability to create POCs or prototypes to showcase AI linguistic services is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of AI technologies, including natural language processing, OCR, and Automated Speech Recognition.
  • Thorough knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, with a strong ability to integrate these practices into daily operations.
  • Experience in managing the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including requirements gathering, product roadmap definition, and overseeing development.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, derive insights, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in enhancing user engagement, retention, and growth by leveraging AI capabilities and user insights.
