Company Overview:
emagine Consulting is a globally recognized leader in providing comprehensive logistics solutions. We are currently seeking to enhance our existing project team with an EDI Project Specialist.
Position Details:
Start: Immediate
Duration: Minimum 6 months (with potential for extension)
Workload: Full-time (5 days a week)
Remote Work: Initial onboarding on-site, thereafter flexible remote options available
Language Proficiency: English (C1 level required)
Key Responsibilities:
The project involves:
1. Gathering requests for new client integrations, internal data flows, and existing EDI processes.
2. Analyzing current EDI processes for each client.
3. Reviewing documentation and verifying technical functionality.
4. Assessing connections to clients on a technical level.
5. Clarifying business requirements with relevant departments.
6. Reporting erroneous entries.
7. Reviewing submitted mapping descriptions.
8. Creating new mapping descriptions for standard EDI formats such as UN/EDIFACT, ANSI ASC X12, XML, and RosettaNet into the in-house format.
9. Developing documentation for developers, including potential solutions.
10. Setting deadlines for development tasks.
11. Prioritizing requests.
12. Testing newly developed or modified EDI processes in the integration environment.
13. Coordinating the FAT phase (scheduling, results, etc.).
14. Conducting international phone and online conferences in English.
15. Supporting go-live phases.
