Job Title: Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our Alerting Platform Automation team at Datadog. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and operating automation systems that can reproduce manual actions, reducing toil and increasing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build automation systems to replace manual and repetitive tasks
  • Work with the Alerting engineering teams to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Identify reliability bottlenecks and design solutions to mitigate or eliminate them
  • Test and measure systems to ensure they operate efficiently and scale automatically
Requirements:
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify core issues, and propose short-term and long-term solutions
  • Strong communication skills to work with team members and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Python, and/or Golang
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, especially Gitlab
