Senior Financial Analyst (M/F)

Are you ready to engage in significant projects and embrace new opportunities?

Become part of a forward-thinking organization with a workforce exceeding 100 employees, the Financial Management Division (FMD), tasked with the financial oversight of budgets for the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) and Sourcéo, the water production agency of MEL.

In the role of Senior Financial Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the director, deputy director, and departmental leaders. You will serve as a vital point of contact for Public Accountant services, offering expertise on interdisciplinary departmental initiatives and aiding in the account certification process.

We are on the lookout for a Senior Financial Analyst to contribute to MEL, a vibrant entity catering to over a million residents across a broad area of 95 municipalities.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering technical assistance on intricate and cross-departmental projects
  • Acting as a principal liaison with the Public Accountant and managing financial service agreements
  • Facilitating the account certification process

What we anticipate from you:

  • Educational background in accounting/auditing with a focus on public finance
  • Experience in internal financial controls within either public or private sectors
  • Proven independence, determination, and organizational capabilities
  • Expertise in project management and synthesis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering internal and external collaborations
  • Affiliation with public service or qualification in category A civil service examinations
