Your Civic Service Role

Mission Objectives

This civic mission is designed to enhance the independence of the youth under the care of the TEMPO initiative in their everyday lives, assist them in their academic pursuits (including tutoring and reading sessions), and introduce them to various artistic, cultural, and recreational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Mission Commencement: The TEMPO initiative accommodates around 80 unaccompanied young migrant individuals aged 15 to 18, aiming to foster their personal and social integration, career development, and independence. A dedicated team of professionals, including specialized educators and educational facilitators, guides these initiatives in which the volunteer will participate. The mission aligns with child protection practices within a decentralized housing service. Volunteers assist educators in daily living activities, support youth in their studies, lead extracurricular programs, and provide assistance in learning the French language. Volunteers are also encouraged to propose specific supplementary projects, such as engaging educational workshops and thematic excursions (museums, theater, etc.).

Monthly collective training and discussion sessions will be organized with fellow Service Civique volunteers (ESS'Team project).
