Eramet's Central Technical Department is seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting sites and project teams in identifying, qualifying, and controlling technological and industrial risks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a safety process approach consistent with Eramet's industrial activities
- Carrying out preliminary and detailed risk assessments on the Group's facilities
- Helping identify major accident scenarios and proposing mitigation actions
- Participating in safety assessments in change management processes
- Supporting sites in implementing industrial risk management routines
- Contributing to the definition and establishment of the industrial risk dashboard
- Supporting project teams in choosing technologies and implementing protection systems
- Drafting Group safety process standards based on standards and best practices
The ideal candidate will have a technical and scientific background in industrial risks and process safety, with over 10 years' experience in industrial risks and/or process safety.
Key skills include:
- Knowledge of standards systems and associated tools
- HAZID/AZOP session moderation
- Ability to teach, summarize, organize, convince, and argue
- Good networking skills with a taste for matrix and functional relationships
- Defending the Group's principles and policies
- Ability to adapt to a wide range of regulatory and cultural environments
