Job Title: Chief Butcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Butcher to lead our meat department at Grand Frais. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meat Department Management: Oversee the preparation, display, and sales of meat products, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of butchers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent performance and productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock, and maintain accurate records to minimize waste and optimize sales.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum CAP Butcher diploma
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Knowledge of meat cutting techniques, familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations, ability to manage a profit center, team management skills, and computer literacy
