Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our client's team as a Backend Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems for the company's products, ensuring high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software systems for the company's products, including backend infrastructure, cross-compilation tooling, release automation, and software for embedded environments.
- Ensure physical and software security of devices and applications, implementing robust security measures to prevent data breaches and cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and maintain software systems using C++, Python, or JavaScript, with a strong focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Work closely with the development team to implement unit tests, integration tests, and other quality assurance measures to ensure software reliability and stability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development, applying this knowledge to improve the company's software systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience in C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency in Git and best practices for collaborative development.
- Familiarity with processing large volumes of images or video (image processing or computer vision).
- Embedded Linux development and strong knowledge of the Linux OS and kernel.
- Writing unit tests with Google test suite & Benchmark.
- Test-Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development.
Preferred Skills:
