Job Overview
As a key member of our wellness team, you will report directly to the Spa Operations Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering professional, engaging, and proactive guest service while supporting your colleagues.
- Upholding Accor's core values in all interactions.
- Ensuring an outstanding guest experience by supervising, motivating, and leading the therapist team.
- Facilitating training on product knowledge and treatment protocols to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Training and assessing compliance with treatment standards to ensure excellence.
- Conducting regular briefings and departmental meetings to foster a positive work environment.
- Managing inventory of skincare products and consumables while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Encouraging therapists to recommend and upsell products and services to enhance guest experiences.
- Preparing and presenting monthly performance reports on therapist key performance indicators.
- Conducting timely performance evaluations for therapists.
- Practicing effective management by being accessible and visible to your team.
- Ensuring compliance with health department standards through regular inspections of treatment areas.
- Addressing guest concerns promptly and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation.
- Acting as the manager on duty in the absence of the Assistant Spa Manager.
- Providing exceptional skincare treatments and services in a professional manner.
- Performing various nail services and maintaining a loyal clientele.
- Adhering to all corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
- Participating in hotel committees and special projects as needed.
- Undertaking additional duties and projects as assigned.
- A diploma in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, or an Esthetician license is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury spa environment is preferred.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
- Strong focus on guest needs with a calm and courteous demeanor.
- Proven ability to coach teams to achieve performance goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working cohesively in a diverse, multicultural team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with a willingness to work flexible hours.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Medium visual effort required.
- Ability to work in a busy atmosphere.
