Logistics Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team at EQUANS France. As a Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of equipment and materials to and from our warehouse, ensuring timely delivery and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, including coordinating with transportation providers and tracking shipments.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments, including preparing and sending shipping documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations, including receiving and dispatching shipments.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, including receiving and storing equipment and materials.
• Perform daily tasks, including data entry, reporting, and communication with internal teams.
• Assist in the preparation of shipments, including packing and labeling equipment and materials.
• Coordinate with external partners to ensure efficient logistics operations, including transportation providers and suppliers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Fluency in English and French required.
