As a participant in our Career Accelerator Program (CAP), you will embark on a transformative 11-month journey that combines professional and technical training with hands-on learning experiences. The program is designed to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to excel in a customer-oriented career that pairs technical knowledge with business acumen.

The FAST (Field Applications & Sales Training) Program is a key component of our CAP, offering two distinct tracks: Field Applications and Technical Sales. As a Field Applications Engineer, you will rotate through two critical roles: Field Sales Office (FSO) and Systems Engineering & Marketing (SEM). In FSO, you will work closely with customers to resolve technical challenges and maximize TI's revenue through system-level solutions. In SEM, you will gain hands-on experience with various TI components, understanding how they fit together to deliver innovative systems-level solutions.

Upon successful completion of the Field Applications Engineer track, you will be welcomed as a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team. As an FAE, your responsibilities will include:

  • Using sales tools and relationships with design engineering to identify potential projects
  • Providing customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content
  • Using broad technical expertise to influence customers' part selection process while favorably positioning TI versus competition

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluent in local language and English, with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components
  • Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.)
  • Experience with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended)
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

  • Ability to build lasting, influential relationships, both inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
