Project Overview
The COSMOGRAM project, currently funded by an Inria exploratory action, aims to develop new geometric methods for computational cosmology. As part of this project, we are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on developing a novel algorithm for computing large-scale Voronoi diagrams on PC clusters.
Responsibilities
- Develop a novel algorithm for computing large-scale Voronoi diagrams on PC clusters.
- Implement and conduct practical experiments using the Grid5000 infrastructure.
- Connect the algorithm to the existing semi-discrete optimal transport code and conduct large-scale optimal-transport computations.
- Possible project extension: propose algorithms for partial optimal transport and Laguerre cells with more complicated shapes.

Requirements
- Ph.D. in computer science
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work in a research group and interact with researchers from other fields
