- Prepare and submit essential documentation for the clearance of goods, including customs declarations, certificates of origin, and import licenses.
- Liaise with customs officials and governmental bodies to secure necessary approvals and address customs-related challenges.
- Ensure adherence to both national and international customs laws, including duties, taxes, and import/export limitations.
- Assess and confirm applicable customs duties and taxes for goods being imported or exported.
- Track transit shipments and address any customs-related complications that may arise.
- Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to guarantee the timely delivery of goods post-clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of customs regulations at both national and international levels.
- Capability to work autonomously while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
