This firm focuses on the entire value chain of projects, from feasibility services to construction monitoring, including environmental and social consultancy services. They work closely with infrastructure and industrial Developers, Independent Power Producers, Utilities, Governments and their agencies, Investors, and Financial institutions.
They are seeking a highly skilled Solar PV Technical Lead to join their team and contribute to the growth of renewable energy projects in West Africa.
Role & Responsibilities- Lead and execute technical assignments related to solar PV power plant design, construction, and operation with a team of engineers under your supervision.
- Coach, develop, and empower your team of engineers to excel in solar PV plant design and maximize their capabilities within their roles.
- Establish company procedures and tools for designing solar PV plants and associated infrastructures.
By the end of the contract, the team should be capable of designing a solar PV plant, with one team member ready to assume the role of Solar PV Technical Lead.
Key RequirementsThe ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 8 years of technical experience in designing solar PV projects of 5 MW or larger.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in all phases of solar PV project development, from design to commissioning.
- Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
