Electronics Board Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Board Design Engineer to join our team at Intel GmbH in Sophia-Antipolis, France.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality PCB layouts for various electrical boards, including flexible circuit boards and rigid boards.
  • Prepare layout, detailed drawings, and schematics using computer-assisted engineering design software and ECAD tools.
  • Define efficient design guidelines, specifications, and best-known design methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of our PCB design process.
  • Conduct signal and power integrity simulations for design verification.
  • Perform electrical, interface, and functional tests.
  • Debug boards and implement fixes.
  • Support internal Product and FAE teams in adapting our reference boards to customer HW.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in electronics engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic board development.
  • Experienced in CAO tools for PCB design.
  • Experienced in PCA testing.
  • Experienced in simulation tools.
  • Good technical expertise in electronic products (FPGAs, microcontrollers, boards).
  • Knowledge of low-level software for microcontroller programming and testing software.
  • Good knowledge of debugging tools (JTAG box, Lauterbach debugger, etc.).
  • Analytical skills for debugging boards.
  • Good knowledge of laboratory tools (oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter, soldering, etc.).
  • Experience in the automotive environment and constraints is a plus.
  • Quality management (ISO 9001, etc.).
Language Skills:
  • Fluent in English.
  • French speaking is a plus.

  • Be self-motivated, pro-active, flexible, and able to accept new challenges.
  • Demonstrate communication and teamwork skills.
