The Construction Vendor Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the essential timeline of Consultants, General Contractors (GC), and supply chain operations, aiming to identify, secure, and enhance the value derived from our vendors in Design & Construction (D&C) projects.

Ideal candidates will exhibit a strong sense of ownership, a proactive approach, and high motivation, complemented by experience in Project and Contracts Management within the construction sector.

This position requires a comprehensive understanding of Amazon's construction projects and necessitates close collaboration with key construction partners, including consultants, General Contractors, and internal teams such as Procurement, Pre-construction, and Construction.

Applicants should possess demonstrated experience in the construction field and a proven history of achieving results in fast-paced, dynamic business settings while balancing the sometimes competing demands of various stakeholder groups.

# Analyzing metrics and utilizing vendor data to derive valuable insights;
# Supporting the Pre-construction Manager and Procurement during the bidding process;
# Acting as a business partner with Procurement, Pre-Construction, and Construction teams to ensure the successful execution of commercial and technical objectives;
# Collaborating closely with Pre-construction, Construction, and Project Delivery Teams to assist in sourcing General Contractors and Consultants, ensuring adequate capacity in the respective countries;
# Holding a university degree in civil engineering or architecture;
# Demonstrating proven project management experience in construction or contracts management;
# Exhibiting strong analytical capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making;
# Proficiency in Excel and other software tools for delivering vendor metrics and conducting analysis;
# Effective written and verbal communication skills in English;
# Cross-functional experience, particularly in procurement, planning, cost control, contracts, or project management;
# Excellent command of Excel, including macros, database management, QuickSight, or similar software;
# Experience in contract management (FIDIC, NEC, JTC, etc.), drafting contracts, or legal correspondence is advantageous;
# Previous experience in technical or management roles on construction sites will be considered a plus;
# Proficiency in German, French, Polish, Arabic, or Turkish is regarded as a preferred qualification.
