Job Overview

Under the guidance of the site supervisor and the training mentor, you will acquire the skills necessary for the role of pipefitter and work towards obtaining a recognized qualification in this field.

Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

• Construction work on structures, water, or sanitation pipelines and networks
• Excavation activities for the setup of water or sanitation pipelines and networks
• Replacement of water or sanitation pipelines and networks
• Interpretation and assessment of project documentation
• Maintenance of vehicles
• Reporting on activities through a digital platform
• Implementing safety measures for yourself and your colleagues

ABOUT TRAINING

• You will engage in a dual training program that alternates between the host organization and the educational institution. You will prepare for the professional qualification of Pipefitter or the CAP Diploma in Public Works Pipeline Construction.
• The training schedule typically consists of approximately 3 weeks in the company followed by 1 week at the training center.
• All training costs will be covered by the host organization.

• Possession of a B driving license
