About the Role:
The Weight Control discipline is at the heart of our projects, working across various domains (floating wind, offshore, modular...). It provides a global vision of projects (lasting several months). As an interface with all engineering activities and disciplines, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising weight control studies and carbon footprint calculations for the engineering scope (scope 3 upstream materials & equipment). You will work on critical aspects of these projects, such as transportation, lifting, installation, or operation during different project phases. You will have the opportunity to evolve the weight control service by proposing innovations and sharing your experience.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- To calculate and analyze weights and center of gravity on projects by compiling data from each discipline.
- To calculate the carbon footprint of the engineering scope of projects in execution.
- To write weight control reports.
- To manage the weight and center of gravity database.
- To manage the carbon footprint factors database.
- To produce the weight control specification applicable to disciplines, in accordance with regulations and client specifications.
- To anticipate weight and center of gravity evolution on the project and propose solutions in collaboration with disciplines (process, mechanics, piping, instrumentation, electricity, structure...).
- To maintain the quality procedure for weight control and ensure its proper application, ensuring historical tracking.
About You:
You are a generalist engineer with similar experience of 1/2 years in offshore design or modularization onshore. You are mobile, rigorous, curious, autonomous, proactive, and have a strong sense of teamwork. You are fluent in English.
