Job Summary

Groupe ADENES is seeking a highly skilled Expert in Damage Assessment for Insurance Companies to join our team in France. As a key member of our Expertise ELEX France team, you will be responsible for conducting damage assessments for insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site damage assessments at various locations, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties, to identify the cause and extent of damage.
  • Estimate the cost of repairs and reconstruction, and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and liability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including insured parties, insurance companies, and contractors, to facilitate the claims process.
  • Prepare detailed reports on damage assessments, estimates, and recommendations for settlement.
  • Ensure that indemnifications and settlements are in line with insurance policy terms and the insured party's loss.
  • Monitor and track claims files according to established processes, and keep stakeholders informed of progress.

Requirements

  • Hold a higher education degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, construction economics, or a related field.
  • Have at least one year of experience in a similar role, such as construction project management, building control, or construction economics.
  • possess strong technical expertise in the construction industry.
  • Be able to analyze, synthesize, and make decisions.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to manage multiple files simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Be proactive, autonomous, and have a positive attitude.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is between €30,000 and €60,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a car policy, fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package.
