Product Design Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Design Intern to join our team at Canada Goose. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and execution of our product line, ensuring exceptional quality and performance.
Responsibilities- Design and develop seasonal color palettes in collaboration with design directors.
- Manage and execute end-to-end color processes, including research, development, and implementation.
- Work closely with senior graphic designers and outside consultants to ensure premium execution of core products.
- Coordinate and manage all design color tools, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional partners.
- Research and design designated styles from concept to proto approval, as directed by design leadership.
- Execute special projects with support from the design manager and team.
- BA Honours Degree or above in Fashion Design.
- 'Convention de stage' required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
- General knowledge of patternmaking and critical product construction.
- General knowledge of materials (fabrics and trims).
- Excellent presentation skills of both designs and creative concepts.
- CAD development skills for construction of garments and merchandised presentations.
