Cyclist Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Bicycle Mechanic to join our team at La Cordée. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers.

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and helpful experience for all clients.
• Assemble, maintain, and repair bicycles for customers and in-store, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
• During the winter season, install ski bindings and perform ski maintenance and repairs, following manufacturer guidelines.
• Process transactions using our computer system and/or place orders using our ordering software.
• Perform various marketing tasks as needed, depending on the season and business requirements.

• Secondary education.
• Degree in a relevant field (DES).
• Completed education.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in French.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (important for our Anglophone clientele).

• Extensive knowledge of bicycle mechanics and the bicycle industry (bikes, components, accessories).
• General knowledge of skiing (ski maintenance, binding installation, waxing), a plus.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• High level of autonomy.
• Regular cyclist.
• Bilingual (French and English).
