About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Data, Software, and DevOps team. As a team lead, you will oversee the development environment, integration of third-party tools, and processes to ensure the success of our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with underwriting and R&D managers to define key targets and roadmap
- Provide technical direction and support to the engineering team
- Ensure best practice and compliance to internal standards and practices
- Frequently present progress and goals to both engineering and wider teams
- Set up a cyber roadmap with a reachable Business Continuation Plan and Incidence response plan
- Contribute to the technical roadmap through architecture meetings and design documents
- Lead and coach your engineering team to consistently deliver according to their roadmap
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps position(s)
- 1 year or more of technical management experience
- Ability to handle human interactions between tech and business
- Experience mentoring a team of engineers by unblocking complex situations and sharing best practices
- Scoping and defining tech priorities according to roadmap and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills, in both formal and informal settings, and in English and French
- Knowledge of the tech stack or equivalent tools
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience automating a CI/CD pipeline
- Good knowledge in English and fluency in French
