Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Bookkeeper to manage both financial and administrative responsibilities for Grain de Sail Logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Reconcile statements with vendor accounts and identify discrepancies.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including issuing invoices to clients and tracking incoming payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process payroll, including calculating employee wages and handling payroll taxes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledger entries and post journal entries for adjustments and corrections.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working with QuickBooks or similar software application.
  • Ability to multi-task and focus, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work with numbers and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Light administrative and HR duties, including communication with vendors and clients.
  • Assistance with accounting month-end tasks and ad-hoc projects.
